Goalie Jamie McLennan gets slash-happy
April 22, 2007In Game 5 of the Calgary vs. Detroit series, as it began to get a little rough, Calgary pulled Mikka Kiprusoff and put in backup Jamie McLennan. McLennan proceeded to go crazy and slash everyone in sight.
He ended up with a 5 game suspension, the coach Jim Playfair was fined $25,000 and the organization was fined $100,000.
Proof that the Flames really do suck. The coach and organization shouldn’t be getting sued, they weren’t the ones picturing humans as logs of wood.
