you said it!!……they can’t grow a pair because their jeans are sooo tight that it prevents anything to move hahaha, in 20 years they will just say “why the hell did we do that?”

I totally agree with you here, although I’m not an emo fanatic. Though I do respect it. I suppose I’d much prefer this than the huge baggy jeans, clothes trend of the early to mid ’90s. The baggy stuff was the trend I had to grow up with during that time (many of us Echo-boomers). Needless to say, I look nothing like that beacause, like many of us that matured with time, we formed our own opinions and decisions, and create our own style based upon our sytnhesis of the fashion environment around us. So for instance, myslef, I no longer wear baggy clothing, neither do I wear “skin-tight” jeans. I do however, do try to be “creative” and “fashionable” if you will. Blending a unique style of patterns colours, and shapes to defy today’s “common” trends. So yeah, I give you the credit for staning up for your “style”. Not many people can do that.

some uggs and fuzzy boots actually look “cute” on some girls given the right “combo”, colour and style. But it just depends on that person’s personal pref. Then again, some people can look “not so convincing” with a air of uggs. It really depends, however.

actually, I don’t know “exactly” what you are talking about, but I can imagine that there are a group of young women (or teen girls) who reflect on the old days of 1950s and early 1960s, and some 1980s female actresses and stars. The style of pants rode up to the waist to highlight the contrast between the curvature of the butt and the slenderness of the actual waist itslef, if you will. Well, I don’t know if this is what you gals mean, but I can imagine. So what do you think of the high-riding pants? I mean, certain styles of it actually look good, but I have to agree that certain styles of high-riders look too “mom-esque”. So perhaps that’s why some men comment against it. But given the right style, combo, colours, and “theme”, it can be “gorgeous”. But….errr, whatta you think?

In the end, fashion (whether counter-culture or high mainstream) is a matter of personal taste and reference, regardless of the mockery and “culture” wars going about (yes many out there already know that). I respect many facets of fashion. But I will be honest, there are some fashions (i.e baggy jeans, grillz, uggz, emo, etc.) that I do not like. But you know, to each is own, and I suppose that’s what makes everyone different. But I’ll have to admit, today’s present trend appears to be a battle between the emo-punk look and the bling/hip-hop, and glamour groups. As we speak, I can’t imagine the various counter cultures trying to deviate against these current trends, with whatever resources available to be “unique”. But you know, to each is own, that’s how I look at it.

A friend & I just watched a group of mid twenties men walkin around with their shorts literally at their knees. Do these kids not know that this trend was in FACT started by prison in-mates that intended to “advertise” their sexual agreeability.

can’t spell
wishes they were ghetto (yep, I went there)
wears GIRLS jeans
wears GIRLS makeup
wears GIRLS hairstyle

Does NOT incite jealousy in me. Just makes me laugh, because honestly, Mr. Idiot, it’s not an original look.

While your clan of 12 and 14yr old friends think they’re the first ones to be “oppressed” and “raging against the system,” they’re not.

So grow a pair and grow the hell up.
